Since the early 1900s, the elevator has had many names, serving the farmers of Michigan and beyond, providing quality seed for their crops and custom nutrition for their livestock.

In 2008, the elevator was purchased by Jay and Kelly Berry. Brown City Elevator was formed and is operated by the Berry family and their dedicated employees. In 2015, the Peck elevator was purchased and is now called the Brown City Elevator Peck location. The Peck location serves as an integral part of the manufacturing process. The Berrys are dedicated to customer service; creating a space where customers and the community feel valued.
